A lovely stay in a cosy hostel

The staff were excellent and very friendly. The bike tour from the hostel was fantastic. The guide was very knowledgeable about the area and very friendly. While some tours had large amounts of people, the tour from this hostel was a small number which made the tour more personal.

The hostel is located in a very cool, very safe feeling...

The hostel is located in a very cool, very safe feeling neighborhood. The beds are very comfortable and it is pretty quiet considering you are in a huge city. The kitchen is pretty well equipped and there is a good (small) market around the corner. If you don't want to cook there are endless amounts of restaurants nearby as well.

There isn'y much of an atmosphere here, which isn't necessarily bad, but this didn't seem like somewhere you would meet many other travelers.

Loved most of it.

Loved most of it. Sonia on reception is very kind, interesting and welcoming! Great layout, great location, very comfortable, good free coffee and lots of attention to detail. Loved it.

Maybe a small breakfast would be cool and slightly later check out ;)

Beds in the dorms are great!

Beds in the dorms are great! Comfortable matress and blankets, curtains for privacy, reading lamp and socket at each bed. Lovely staff that's also happy to help you (i needed to see an english speaking doctor for example and got perfect advice). Quiet and safe neighbourhood with all sorts of restaurants around. Easy to explore the city from there.

Nice staff, especially Sebastian from the night shifts is willing to speak a lot about things going on in Colombia

Honestly we were not 100% sure if they changed the bed linen before we came.

Soft comfy bed, powerful hot shower (most of the time),...

Soft comfy bed, powerful hot shower (most of the time), helpful staff - arranged for me to shower at the Bikram Yoga place next door when there was no hot water, which was great! Very safe neighbourhood at night with awesome restaurants.

Cash only for all nights and on arrival left me short of cash on first night. No breakfast or food options was an inconvenience on Sunday morning (with many nearby places closed). Loud sporadic noise in private room coming from boiler was a bit of a disturbance although I was offered earplugs (could be just me being sensitive, as was suggested by staff). Hostel lacked that friendly “hostel feeling”, although that depends on luck to some extent.

I arrived late to Bogota and they were very accommodating.

I arrived late to Bogota and they were very accommodating. I booked a bed in a mixed dorm, but was the only one in the room. It was lovely! I even overslept past check out, but that was no bother to them.

Quiet area, with lots of restaurants and coffee shops, close...

Quiet area, with lots of restaurants and coffee shops, close to art galleries. Wifi works ok in the dorm. Privacy curtains and plugs and bed lamp is really convenient. Nicely decorated hostel. Staff speaks really good english.

There is no hot water for shower. only slightly not cold, but not warm. It is terrible for Bogota's cold weather. No breakfast either. When i was there the hostel was almost empty, so there's no vibe.

Clean, comfy, well-located home base in Bogotá!

Maria, the owner of the hostel, is lovely and energetic and will help you with anything you are looking to do. She goes above and beyond to make sure you have an enjoyable stay and has great recommendations for things to do in the area and good places to eat! The other staff are also very helpful and kind. The space feels clean and bright, and the bed I had was firm and comfy. The location is ideal - you can get wherever you need to and are in a safe area to walk around. I would come back!

Not a bad thing necessarily, but I think that having more hostel activities during the week might make it more sociable!

Super hostel con gente agradable y muy buenos lockers para guadar maletas. Mas que todo: esta super limpio, de la cocina a los banos. Es un hostel muy tranquilo que ofrece tours casi todos los dias.

En la noche no había una persona que pudiera verificar la reserva en Booking, solo un señor que no maneja la tecnologia y pidieron guardar la cédula hasta el día siguiente, asunto que no está permitido hacer en Colombia. Los baños quedaban separados del piso donde restaba la habitación. la luz de noche de la cama estaba rota

Buena ubicación, pero solo efectivo aceptan.

La limpieza, la comodidad de las camas.

No me gustó que en una gran ciudad no se pueda pagar con tarjeta de crédito o con dólares americanos. Las puertas de los baños no funcionan bien, cuesta que cierren.

Muy agradable

Es un hostel muy bien decorado con limpieza impecable, ubicado en una calle muy tranquila. El staff fue muy amable y servicial conmigo. Las habitaciones son grandes con camas muy cómodas y sobre todo limpias. Cuenta con una amplia cocina para huespedes y servicio de computadoras a disposición. La sala de TV es muy confortable para relajarse. Internet es bueno pero podrían mejorar el alcance de la señal en el segundo piso, principalmente en las habitaciones. El hostel está ubicado a pocas cuadras de la AK 7ma avenida principal por donde pasan buses a diferentes lugares de la ciudad. Recomiendo mucho 12:12 hostel si querés pasar una estancia tranquila y agradable. Muchas gracias

La habitación y cama estaban bastante bien, bonita decoración del hostal. Buena ubicación.

La cocina, muy precaria. Las estufas para cocinar apenas funcionaba. Si bien había bastante vajilla, las ollas y sartenes en mal estado. No había hervidor para el agua. Pocos elementos básicos de cocina con los que uno no anda viajando y que en otros hostales te suministran, ejemplo, aceite. Estando en Colombia podrían tener cafe al menos.

Me gusto: la comodidad de las camas, los espacios y la atención del personal que labora allí. Es acogedor el sitio y esta muy bien ubicado.

Podrían mejorar el alcance del WiFi, que el personal que labora en las noches también maneje el idioma inglés para que los clientes del exterior no se sientan incómodos y que el agua de las duchas también salga caliente
